I've been a bass player for over 30 years. I never intentionally planned to play the bass. I wanted to play guitar. After all guitarists always got the girls. The only reason I wanted to play music was to meet girls. I wasn't the best guitar player at jam sessions so I was begrudgingly relegated to the bass. Funny thing happened though. I fell in love with the instrument. Here is a brief overview of what to look for if you want to join our little club.

Remembrance Day in Windsor, Ontario

Hundreds of spectators gathered at the centotaph at Windsor City Hall Square to observe Remembrance Day 2010 and say thank you to local veterans. Among the crowd school children paraded past the front of the cenotaph laying down their poppies and waving small Canadian flags.
Onlookers witnessed the laying of dozens of Wreaths. Silver Cross Mother, Teresa Charboneau o0f Windsor, laid a wreath in honour of her fallen son soldier Andrew Grenon. Grenon died at the age of 23 in Sept. 2008 during an insurgent attack in Afganistan.

The Stephen Harper conservatives prorogued Canadian parliament late December. Grassroots protests via facebook sprung up around the country. Here is a vignette that I put together based on audio I collected at the rally that took place here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. (my hometown) FYI, Windsor is located directly across the border from Detroit Michigan. USA.
