The recent implementation of the CIP in Windsor has downtown business people in a positive frame of mind. The CIP will allow for new investment and businesses in the core area.

I've been a bass player for over 30 years. I never intentionally planned to play the bass. I wanted to play guitar. After all guitarists always got the girls. The only reason I wanted to play music was to meet girls. I wasn't the best guitar player at jam sessions so I was begrudgingly relegated to the bass. Funny thing happened though. I fell in love with the instrument. Here is a brief overview of what to look for if you want to join our little club.

The 2010 season for Windsor's downtown market was a success. There was some controversy this year with regards to a permanent location. Listen to the podcast to get details.

Hundreds of spectators gathered at the centotaph at Windsor City Hall Square to observe Remembrance Day 2010 and say thank you to local veterans. Among the crowd school children paraded past the front of the cenotaph laying down their poppies and waving small Canadian flags.
Onlookers witnessed the laying of dozens of Wreaths. Silver Cross Mother, Teresa Charboneau o0f Windsor, laid a wreath in honour of her fallen son soldier Andrew Grenon. Grenon died at the age of 23 in Sept. 2008 during an insurgent attack in Afganistan.

Comic strip The Conduit gaining in notoriety

Tony Gray, a local Windsor comic artist with a passion for drawing, has recently earned international fame and notoriety. His strip The Incredible Conduit has become increasingly popular around the world amongst comic book collectors.

This is a pod-cast and half hour radio show put together by the 2009-2010 St. Clair College Journalism students in Windsor Ontario, Canada. The show was produced in association with The University of Windsor radio station CJAM and St. Clair College.

Father Nichloa Iko Mauro recently returned from a month long trip to his home in Sudan. Father Nic, as he is known, was able to raise funds locally and bring much needed help to desperate Sudanese families. In this vignette Father Nic talks about his journey and who he was able to help.
